2009 European new wind farm investment reached 13 billion euros, including 1.5 billion euros at sea. Among them, land-based wind power generation capacity of 9,581 MW (an increase of 21%), offshore <a href="http://www.china-windturbine.com/wind_power_generator.htm">wind power generation</a> capacity of 582 MW (an increase of 56%).<br />
